The Cotton Express transit service offers two types of bus services: The Cotton Express Deviated Route Service and the Cotton Express Dial-A-Ride service.

Deviated Route Bus:

Cotton Express Bus
The Cotton Express Deviated Route Bus runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  There are 46 scheduled stops operating on an East Loop, West Loop, and Central Shopper route. The stops are conveniently placed throughout the City, all of which are serviced at least once every hour, with all major businesses serviced twice per hour.  Most bus stops are located within 2 blocks of city residents' homes. This bus will deviate for Dial-a-Ride eligible passengers.

Dial-A-Ride:

The Cotton Express Dial-A-Ride operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  It is a curb-to-curb type of service for Special Needs passengers: those over the age of 55 or those with a disability that prevents them from walking more than 2 blocks to a bus stop.

Most calls for Dial-A-Ride service are answered within 15 minutes but during peak periods the wait may be slightly longer.  Therefore, we ask our passengers to call at least 1 hour in advance of any scheduled appointments.

For additional information on the Cotton Express transit service, contact Marcus Hoffman at 520.723.6085.
