The Cottonwood Area Transit System, known as CATS, provides both fixed and deviated route service. Service extends into Clarkdale, Verde Village and Bridgeport.

The original Dial-A-Ride is a door-to-door service provided to all residents of the communities of Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Bridgeport, and the Verde Villages. Rides for this service must be reserved with the CATS office at least 48-hours in advance.

The Catch-A-Ride service, a deviated fixed route service, has been going strong since its inception in January 2002. This service operates on a schedule with over two dozen stops at conveniently located areas. This service stops at school campuses, major apartment housing locations, senior centers, shopping plazas, and medical facilities. Catch-A-Ride service provides riders the flexibility to schedule shopping, medical appointments and/or library trips at their own convenience.

For additional information on CATS, contact the Transportation Manager, Shirley Scott at 928.634.2287. CATS office is located at 1490 West Mingus Avenue in the City of Cottonwood.
