Expanding Arizona's Transportation Options

Transportation Executive Order 2007-02

On January 8, 2007, Governor Napolitano issued an executive order directing the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to report on statewide transit options to serve and connect as efficiently as possible those Arizona communities for which such options would be cost-effective. The ADOT report will include information about transit needs as well as an assessment of potential public and private funding sources.

An extension has been issued for the completion of the report to allow for additional public input and to provide further definition of Arizona's public transportation needs. Information regarding the completion of the report will be posted as soon as available.

The public input process will include eight regional meetings:

March 14, 2007 Flagstaff

March 15, 2007 Lake Havasu City

April 24, 2007 Show Low

April 25, 2007 Prescott

April 26, 2007 Yuma
