Valley Metro/RPTA provides Gila Bend - Phoenix service operating 2 round trips per day, Monday through Friday. The service travels along Maricopa County Route 85 with stops in Gila Bend, Buckeye, Avondale, Goodyear, Tolleson, and at the Desert Sky Transit Center in Phoenix. The vehicles serving the route are 16 passenger minibuses that are lift equipped and fully accessible. Operators can deviate up to three quarters of a mile (curb to curb) from the route for passengers who are ADA certified. Reservations for ADA services can be made up to 14 days in advance and as late as 24 hours before departure. The service also has timed connections in Gila Bend with Pima County Department of Transportation for those who wish to travel to Ajo. The service operates one round trip per day between Ajo and Gila Bend Monday through Friday. Those traveling between Ajo and Gila Bend (both directions) must make a reservation with Ajo Transportation. This reservation must be made at least one day in advance.
